Wrap a soft tape around your head about 1 cm above your eyebrows and ears. That measurement in cm is your EU hat size. Divide it by 7.98 for the US fitted size: a 57 cm head is US 7⅛ and size M. Adjustable caps fit about 55–60 cm, so measure before buying a fitted cap or a helmet-style hat.
