Quick answer

Glove size is your hand's measurement in inches. Measure around your palm at the knuckles, without the thumb, and from the wrist crease to the tip of your middle finger, then use the larger number. An 8-inch hand is size 8, or M. Riding gloves and gym gloves use the same scale, but check the brand's chart because some run small.

How to measure

  1. Wrap the tape around your dominant hand at the knuckles, leaving out the thumb.
  2. Measure from the crease of your wrist to the tip of your middle finger.
  3. Use the larger of the two numbers, which the calculator does for you.
