Quick answer

  • What it covers: batteries, wiper blades, filters, bulbs, brake parts, belts and tyres.
  • Check first: make, model, year, variant and the part number, because most parts are not universal.
  • Safety parts: have brake and steering parts fitted by a qualified mechanic.

What you will find in car parts

Batteries

Check the capacity in Ah, the physical size and the terminal side for your car.

Wipers, filters and bulbs

Wiper lengths, filter fitment and bulb codes differ by model. Match all three to your manual.

Brake and suspension parts

Safety parts. Match the part number and have them fitted by a mechanic.

Tyres

Match the size printed on the sidewall of your current tyre, and check the manufacture week on delivery.

What to check before you buy car parts

  1. Match the part to your exact make, model, year and variant, and to the part number where the listing gives one.
  2. Read tyre size from the sidewall. In 185/65 R15, 185 is the width in millimetres, 65 is the sidewall height as a percent of the width, R means radial and 15 is the rim diameter in inches.
  3. Bulb codes such as H4 or H7 describe the fitting, not the brightness. Check your manual.
  4. Many cars use different wiper lengths on the driver and passenger side, so check both.
  5. For batteries, compare the capacity in Ah, the size and the terminal position with your current battery.
  6. Check the manufacture date or week code on batteries and tyres when they arrive.

How we review and score

What we did. We picked ten products per collection from Amazon.in with large rating counts and read each listing on 7 October 2026: star rating, number of ratings, price and the specs the listing states. Where a listing does not state a figure, we leave it out.

What we did not do. We have not lab-tested these products and nothing here claims we did. Verdicts are editorial judgments built on the listed specs and on owner ratings. If we test one ourselves, the result will appear in a separate block labelled “Hands-on test”.

The CouponTalk Score. Out of 10, built only from public owner ratings so you can check it.

Score = 2 × (ratings × stars + 500 × 4.0) ÷ (ratings + 500)

The 500-rating buffer stops a product with few ratings from beating one with thousands just because its average is a few tenths higher. Scores are a ranking aid, not a measurement of quality. Amazon can share one rating across variants such as sizes or colours..

Disclosure. As an Amazon Associate, CouponTalk earns from qualifying purchases. You pay the same price. Commission never changes a product’s score or its place in the list. Prices change often, so check the live price on Amazon.in.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know a car part will fit?

Match the make, model, year and variant against the compatibility details on the listing, and match the part number printed on your old part or in your manual. If the listing is unclear, ask the seller before ordering.

How do I read a tyre size?

In a size such as 185/65 R15, 185 is the width in millimetres, 65 is the sidewall height as a percent of the width, R means radial and 15 is the rim diameter in inches.

Can I fit car parts myself?

Simple items such as wiper blades and some bulbs are common to fit at home. Brake, steering and suspension parts should be fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Does a bulb code tell me how bright it is?

No. Codes such as H4 or H7 describe the fitting and the number of filaments. Brightness is given separately on the listing.
