Divide each price by its quantity to get the unit price, then compare. A 1 kg pack at ₹220 costs ₹22 per 100 g, while a 500 g pack at ₹120 costs ₹24 per 100 g, so the 1 kg pack is about 8% cheaper per gram.
Unit price = Price ÷ Quantity
Price per 100 g = Price ÷ grams × 100 · Price per kg = Price ÷ grams × 1,000
The pack with the lower unit price is the better value.
