Quick answer

Measure your child's foot from heel to longest toe in cm, and the calculator adds about 1.2 cm of growing room before converting to UK (Indian), US and EU sizes. A 16 cm foot is about UK child size 8.5, US 9.5 and EU 26.

How to measure

  1. Have your child stand on paper with full weight on both feet.
  2. Mark the heel and the tip of the longest toe, then measure in cm.
  3. Measure both feet and use the longer one. Re-check every 3 months for toddlers.
