Wrap a thread around the base of your finger, mark it, and measure the length in mm. That circumference gives your Indian ring size; measure in the evening when fingers are largest.
They are the inner diameter in inches and sixteenths: 2.4 is 2 4/16 inches (about 57 mm) and 2.6 is 2 6/16 inches (about 60 mm). Most Indian women wear 2.4 to 2.6.
