A big "% off MRP" often means nothing, because MRPs are set high. The Deal Score weighs what matters: the real discount against the price the product usually sells for (40 points), rating and review count (30), seller trust (10), MRP discount (10) and return window and warranty (10). 80 or more is a great deal; under 50, wait for a better price.
| Factor | Points | Full points when |
|---|---|---|
| Real discount vs usual price | 40 | 25% or more below the usual selling price |
| Rating | 20 | 4.4 stars or more |
| Number of ratings | 10 | 10,000 ratings or more |
| Seller trust | 10 | Brand store or authorised seller |
| Discount vs MRP | 10 | 50% or more below MRP |
| Returns and warranty | 10 | 10-day returns and 12-month warranty |
The score is a guide, not a guarantee. Read the seller's return policy before buying.
