On a ₹1,20,000 on-road bike with ₹20,000 down, a 36-month loan at 11% a year is about ₹3,274 a month, and you pay about ₹17,859 in interest. Always calculate on the on-road price (ex-showroom plus RTO and insurance), not the ex-showroom price. A bigger down payment and a shorter tenure cut the interest most.
