Most makers suggest a weighted blanket of about 10% of your body weight, rounded to the nearest size sold. At 65 kg that is 6.5 kg, so a 6.8 kg (15 lb) blanket. Lighter people and beginners can start a size lower. Weighted blankets are not recommended for babies and young children; for children, check with a doctor first and make sure they can remove it themselves.
