What is a car's real mileage?
Usually 15–25% lower than the ARAI figure in city traffic. Use the full-tank method: fill up, reset the trip meter, and divide km by litres at the next fill.
Is an EV cheaper to run?
Per km, yes: home charging at ₹8 per kWh and 7 km per kWh is about ₹1.1 per km. The higher purchase price is the trade-off.
How much does a car depreciate?
Roughly 15–20% in the first year and 10–15% a year after, depending on brand and demand.
