Quick answer

A bank offer such as "10% instant discount up to ₹1,500 on orders above ₹5,000" gives 10% off only until the cap is reached. Your saving is the smaller of (order value × 10%) and ₹1,500, and only if the order is at least ₹5,000. The cap is hit at ₹15,000 (₹1,500 ÷ 10%); above that, the effective discount keeps falling.

How to use this calculator

  1. Enter your cart value after other discounts.
  2. Enter the bank offer percentage, the maximum discount and the minimum order value from the offer terms.
  3. See your saving and the order value at which the full cap kicks in.

Formula

Bank discount = min(Order value × Offer %, Maximum discount), only if Order value ≥ Minimum order

Order value for full cap = Maximum discount ÷ Offer %

Example: 10% up to ₹1,500 hits the cap at ₹15,000.

Results are estimates to help you plan. Confirm the final price, tax and offer terms at checkout.

Frequently asked questions

How do bank offers work on Amazon and Flipkart?
You pay with the eligible card and the discount is applied instantly at checkout, up to the maximum cap, if the order is above the minimum value. Some offers apply only on EMI, so read the terms.
What does "10% up to ₹1,500" mean?
You get 10% off, but never more than ₹1,500. Below ₹15,000 you get a full 10%; above ₹15,000 the saving stays at ₹1,500.
Can I combine a bank offer with a coupon?
Usually yes. The bank discount is normally calculated on the price after coupons, so add your coupon first and then apply the bank offer.
